Cleaning Information

As to a list of general recommendations, our products should be:

  • Cleaned
  • Disinfected (optional per facility policy)
  • Rinsed
  • Allowed to air dry

It is important to note that disinfecting a product is not the same as cleaning a product. Disinfectants alone will not provide adequate cleaning, as they do not have grease or oil-cutting properties. Over time, if you do not properly clean the upholstery on your product, the appearance, feel, and performance of your product’s upholstery may diminish within your respective setting.

To effectively remove grime, hair, and body oils, your product(s) should be regularly cleaned with a mild soap & water solution, using a damp cloth.  Please avoid harsh detergents or chemicals that could damage the upholstery or finish of your product. If your product’s upholstery is disinfected with chemicals or bleach, the product MUST be rinsed off and wiped down with a damp cloth (using ONLY clean water), and ultimately allowed to air dry. A failure to rinse upholstery with clean water can result in a build-up of residue over time. In turn, such residue can dry out your upholstery, causing changes to its look and feel, and eventually causing the upholstery to crack.

For additional guidance, please refer to the instruction tags that come with your product upon arrival at your location.
