All of Champion’s vinyls are institutional grade with a special finishing treatment called PreFixx®.

What is "the PreFixx® finish"?

The patented PreFixx® protective finish is a scientifically formulated clear liquid applied in the manufacturing process that offers vinyls outstanding protection from staining, abrasion, burnishing, and scuffing.

When applied to vinyl upholstery, the unique PreFixx® formula delivers outstanding stain resistance and cleanability, while demonstrating aesthetic advantages unprecedented in the upholstery industry.

• Versatility. Protection for most designs or textures, with the capability to alter lusters as desired.

• Easy Maintenance. Common stains like dirt and smudges simply wipe off. More difficult stains like ball-point ink can be cleaned with active solvents such as nail polish remover without damaging the PreFixx® finish, when recommended cleaning instructions are followed. Plus, the PreFixx® finish provides superior resistance to staining by commercial vinyl fabric germicides.

Comparisons demonstrate that, after 9 years of availability, PreFixx® still defines state-of-the-art in overall protection against vinyl stain and abrasion. Stated another way, PreFixx® provides a combination of surface protection characteristics exceeded by no other vinyl upholstery finish.
