Champion is committed to building environmentally friendly products in a process that is ecologically conscious by adopting the following principles:

DURABILITY/LONG LIFE OF PRODUCT.  Design and build healthcare seating with the commitment to longer chair life spans to reduce unnecessary early termination of products and landfill consumption.

MODULAR CONSTRUCTION.  Design and build healthcare seating with an understanding that modular construction of products allows for easier replacement parts and less landfill waste.

RAW MATERIALS.  Continue to investigate alternative environmentally friendly raw materials.  For instance, recycled smart fiber, versus the use of standard foam.

PVC-FREE ALTERNATIVES.  Provide the customer an alternative to PVC based vinyl material.  A material that is not only environmentally friendly, but also meets the daily needs of the healthcare practice.

LATEX FREE.  Both products and the manufacturing process are latex free.

EFFICIENCIES IN DESIGN.  Design and develop integrated healthcare seating options, to reduce redundancy and unnecessary equipment duplication.

MINIMAL PACKAGING.  Developed and instituted a packaging program that allows for reuse of the majority of the standard packaging materials.
